George Orwell
One of my favourite movies, I had to share this with you.
Humans today have become so enthralled with television, they pay little attention to the world outside and how it is actually lived. People almost fear being outdoors today and feel safer at work or at home.
Hopefully this movie makes you think outside your box.

Google vs Skype
Google Voice is an excellent communication tool and continues adding onto its diversity, but it lacked one huge factor: allowing direct PC to PC voice calls like MSN Messenger offers.
Google has put to use the tech it got by buying voice over IP (VoIP) provider Gizmo5, last year. Internal testing is allegedly underway of software that places Google Voice on the desktop, moving Skype over from its VoIP monopoly.
Coupled with Google Voices other services, like voicemail with transcription, call-around number, SMS message, call recording, and more, it will allow incoming and outgoing calls right from your PC.
There's no word on when, or even if, this will launch. Google Voice is based on another previous Google acquisition called Grand Central, and that one took forever to change, but rumors swirl that it could be sooner rather than later.
2$ Chow Mein in Montreal!
Chez Mein 3754 Blvd St Laurent, Montreal
It may not look like a huge place, but this is a well frequented take-out/eat-in diner that serves a late night crowd as well as an early evening clientele.
Well known for its peanut butter chow mein and its extremely popular $2 plate. Have a quick hunger?
Speak English in School?
The Quebec English School Boards Association (QESBA) launches an ambitious four-week “Go publique” promotional campaign today throughout the province of Quebec to help fight for the right to choose English as a preferred-choice school language.
Quebec has no right to control how people choose to go to school. Law 104 or whatever it is, has no right to be in existance.
You vote, you can make a decision? You pay taxes? You contribute. But sovereignty from Canada? Get over it. Move on.
A Broke Celebrity?
Despite #1 singles and a #1 album, Lady GaGa is broke. Those gimp masks, bras that shoot out sparks, latex granny panties and stilettos ain't cheap. Her shows, much like Madonna's, cost a hefty sum - dancers, lights, sound gear, trailers, people to help throw clothes at her between sets...
“I’ve gone bankrupt about four times. My manager wants to shoot me," she tells The Sun (UK). “Every dollar I earn goes on the show. We’re finally getting to a place where it’s not bankruptcy. Then again, with another tour coming up I’ll probably be homeless.”
I've been to Hollywood, I lived there for 8 months, so I know first-hand that what's seen on TV is fabrication. No music star or celebrity is really wealthy - they're all broke, they live on credit, if it weren't for checks from TV they'd all be on the street in no time flat.
If they aren't on TV, they're stabbing each other in the back to get another check.
The Fame Game... if you aren't being talked about, you ain't worth a thing.
