dining in Kelowna
Imperial Dynasty Restaurant
754 - 500 Country Hills Blvd N
Calgary, Alberta

My brother nad his wife Danielle invited me out for dinner and this was a nice close choice to make our way to that night. The restaurant is child friendly, they have a long buffet with a nice variety to choose from, and whatever isn't on buffet is going to be a part of their menu.
Well priced, there is enough variety to keep anyone going back for more - including an ice cream making machine for the young and young at heart (lots of sprinkles available too). My favourite was the shrimp - it was tender but not mushy tender - still crisp from the kitchen. Usually you hit a buffet and it's kind of dicey, but I had no qualms eating here.
I was surprised that there was classical music playing during dinner, but I guess that's an appeal of sorts for some of the regular patrons. I would have preferred some Occidental music but given we are in Canada I guess the radio was fine.

But I would return. The seats are comfortable, a table can seat 6 people happily and the staff are very well receptive to little ones. We had time for desserts, a warm cup of tea after, and plenty of time to make it home before long with satiated hungers and time enough for a movie at home with the little ones afterwards.
