hanna's Lounge is probably the best place to hang, in Kelowna, for a good wine list, mellow techno and people who like to go out and not only have a place to wear trendy looking outfits, but don't mind meeting new folks to hook up with.
The daytime crowd is your average suit and tie, looking over the wine list and choosing from an assortment of appetizers and wild game choices.

At around 6, the dinner crowd starts petering out. There may be some people who come in for drinks - there's a community theatre across the road so when a play is on, Hanna's can get quite stuffed. Around 8 o'clock is the time when drinks have set in and the mood goes up, the music kicks in and people actually start looking at each other.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are Martini nights. Dion makes a great Red Lotus and is great for conversation.
He also makes flaming drinks with Absinthe! If you want a reaction from some of the wannabe's there, order a few of these made at once - Dion turns the lights lower, sparks his fire and gets people talking.
I say wannabe's but the people that tend to show up are really interested in meeting new folks as much as you are - it is a small town and for those who want to be more social, this is probably the best place to hook up with folks for an awesome setting, good drinks, mellow techno and groovy clothes.
